1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Sircles account, registering as a guest, or attending a Sircles event, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility & verification
- You must be 18 years or older to use Sircles.
- You must complete identity verification with a valid government-issued national ID and a selfie. Accounts that fail or refuse verification cannot book events.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts, using someone else's identity, or sharing your account is prohibited and grounds for permanent removal.
- You agree that the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.
3. Membership & payments
- Sircles offers paid membership plans and single-event access. Current pricing is shown in the app before any purchase.
- New members receive free trial event credits as displayed at signup.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider. Memberships run for the purchased period; we remind you before expiry.
- Fees for elapsed membership periods and attended events are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we cancel an event (see section 5).
4. Bookings, matching & attendance
- Booking a seat reserves your place in an upcoming event. Registration closes roughly four hours before the event starts, when groups are formed.
- Group composition and venue details are revealed shortly before the event. Matching decisions are final for that event.
- Entry requires the QR code in your app, scanned by venue staff. The QR is personal and non-transferable.
- Repeated no-shows or late cancellations harm other members' experience and may affect your standing, level progress or booking privileges.
5. Cancellations by us
If an event doesn't reach the minimum group size or must be cancelled by Sircles or the venue, we will notify you and restore any credit used or refund any event-specific payment.
6. Guest invites
- Members receive a monthly allowance of guest invites. By inviting a guest, you vouch for them.
- Guests must complete the same identity verification (ID + selfie) before attending.
- You may be held responsible — including impacts to your own standing — for serious misconduct by a guest you vouched for.
7. Conduct at events
Sircles events happen at real venues with real people. You agree to:
- Treat fellow members, guests and venue staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation or threatening behaviour is not tolerated.
- Show up on time and stay engaged with your table.
- Settle your own bill in full before leaving the venue. Unpaid bills may be reported by the venue, investigated by our team, and charged to your payment method after review, with a right to respond and appeal.
- Respect others' privacy — no photographing, recording or sharing others' personal information without consent.
- Not use Sircles for commercial solicitation, promotion or recruitment.
8. Safety system
- The in-app SOS button alerts venue staff and our team. Misusing SOS or filing knowingly false reports is a serious violation.
- Peer reports during an event may, if confirmed by other attendees, lead to immediate removal from the venue and account suspension pending review.
- Post-event reports and evaluations are reviewed by our safety team. Outcomes can include warnings, suspension or permanent ban, at our reasonable discretion.
9. Community standing
Your account standing reflects your conduct. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, endanger members, defraud venues, or undermine the trust the community is built on. Permanently banned IDs are blocked from re-registering.
10. Content & chat
In-app chat is available between mutually connected members. You are responsible for what you send. We may remove content and restrict chat access where it violates these terms. Do not share illegal, abusive or deceptive content.
11. Travel & member-hosted events
Travel plans and Sip & Learn talks are proposed by members and reviewed by Sircles. For travel, Sircles facilitates the introduction and pre-trip meetup only — transportation, accommodation and trip costs are arranged between participants, who take part at their own responsibility.
12. The service
- We work hard to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We may update features, levels, pricing and these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use means acceptance.
- All Sircles branding, design and software remain our property. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app.
13. Liability
Sircles curates introductions and venues, but events involve real-world interactions between independent adults. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sircles is not liable for the acts of members, guests or venues, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Egyptian law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo.
